An event with sign-ups has a spike problem: nearly all the traffic and nearly all the registrations happen within a few hours. A static site takes that without blinking.
And there is a part nobody accounts for in advance: the organisers need to change prices, capacity and activities without calling anyone. That is what decides whether the tool still serves at the second edition.
The pieces
Online sign-ups
Activities with capacity, prices and payment, and an up-to-date participant list.
QR tickets
Issuing, emailing and door control by scanning on arrival.
Event website
Programme, countdown, gallery and sponsors, in as many languages as needed.
How we build it
Activities and their capacity are first-class entities, editable from a dashboard: the team creates an activity, sets its price and its places, and the site publishes it on its own in every language. At Basauri Motorday that means sign-ups with user accounts in Spanish, Basque and English, and the development was donated because the cause is charitable.
Frequently asked questions
Do you take on charity events?
Yes. When the proceeds go in full to the cause, we donate the development. Basauri Motorday is the example.
Can I charge for registration?
Yes, with a payment gateway and a participant list that stays current.
What about door control on the day?
QR tickets and a scanning app at the entrance, which validates and prevents duplicates.
