The project

A complete site for a driving school in Basauri with more than thirty years of teaching behind it: clear services and prices, a gallery of daily life, a contact form, and a structure built to show up in searches for driving schools in Basauri and Bilbao.

The challenge

The school had run for three decades on word of mouth and its shop window. Anyone searching for a driving school in Basauri simply did not find it, and the same questions — what enrolment covers, what it costs, whether there are online classes — were answered one phone call at a time.

The solution

No CMS and no framework in the way: PHP, JavaScript and Tailwind on the hosting the school already had at IONOS, with MySQL behind it and clean URLs served by Apache. The questions that used to take up the phone are now written on the services page — enrolment with theory, manual and automatic licences, online tests and in-person classes — with the prices up front. Skipping a content manager was deliberate: less surface to update, and to break, on a site that changes a few times a year.
